Hiking
This is a fantastic place to go hiking/trekking as you may like to call it. These can last anywhere from 2-4 hour hikes climbing up and down the hill and into the forest. The three popular ones are below

The Watering Hole Trail
The Temple Trail
The Top Of The Hill Trail
A short 1.5 km trail leads from the farm to the Chikkamma Doddamma Temple at the top of the hill. The path climbs along the farm’s edge, passes the housing cluster, and opens to panoramic views—farmlands and Thagatti village on one side, dense forest on the other. The complete 3 km walk can be done comfortably in a couple of hours, and an evening visit rewards you with a stunning sunset.
A short trek leads to a small pond located above the farm, with water available most of the year. The trail continues past the forest road into deeper woodland, where you may spot pug marks of deer and wild boar, and occasionally rabbits or peacocks. The route is about 2.1 km one way and takes a little over two hours, passing through narrow forest paths and thick undergrowth.
This is the longest trail, leading to the top of a nearby hill with panoramic views of forest and distant villages. The route climbs gradually through forest, bamboo clusters, and flower-filled flats during the monsoon. It spans a little over 3 km one way (about 6.5 km round trip) and takes just over 3 hours. Early mornings are ideal to avoid harsh sunlight, while evenings risk returning in the dark. The trail offers rich flora and fauna but may be closed during wildlife movement for safety.
